Editorial policy and corrections
Anyone who spends tens of thousands of zloty on a system after reading this site relies on our figures. Here is where each one comes from and what happens when one is wrong.
Responsibility
Radif Partners is responsible for the content and calculators. Contact: contact@licznikpv.pl.
Primary sources only
- European Commission PVGIS (Joint Research Centre): irradiation and output in every municipality;
- PSE: RCEm and RCE prices;
- URE and tariffs in the URE public bulletin: G11 power and gas prices, distribution rates;
- ISAP (Sejm): the Renewable Energy Act and regulations;
- NFOŚiGW: Czyste Powietrze, Mój Prąd, Przydomowe Magazyny Energii;
- Statistics Poland (GUS): average coal and power prices;
- EUR-Lex: ecodesign regulations for heat pumps and boilers.
Seller pages, installer blogs and other calculators are never a source for any figure.
Checks before every publication
Automated tests check the energy balance, deposit valuation, refund caps, grant thresholds and amounts, and heating costs. An abnormal value blocks publication.
Update rhythm
A script downloads new RCEm and RCE prices from PSE every month. Tariffs and grants are checked whenever the rules change, and all texts at least every 12 months. Anything not yet published, such as 2027 tariffs, is marked “to be published” and never computed as a certain value.
When a figure is wrong
- Check against the primary source.
- Fix in the data file or calculator, plus a new test that will catch the error in future.
- New date on every page; a material correction is noted on the page concerned.
Independence
No payments from panel makers, installers, energy sellers or comparison sites. No product recommendations and no affiliate links.
